Body and the medium actually constitute a systematic relationship between the subject of practice.  The intentionality thinking of phenomenology and the so-called physical practice can be regarded as the beginning of the systemic subject. In this process, human’s practical activities are like the center of a ball, his/her body, eyes, and brain form a circle that constantly moves with the person. This circle is both the human subject and the human object. Together with the human, it constitutes a relative system subject that interacts with the outside world—a subject that blends body practice and its medium. The skin of this system is no longer a traditional skin, but a practice constructed by the body and the media—the information field.

Living in the realm of virtual and real vision, we can experience telepresent. But the data that support the cyberspace pull us away from the internal bioenergy that drives our body. Although we are so out of control when we see the world, we indeed experience a controlled world. We don’t even know at what time when we lost in our soul and cyberspace. Our living physical world gradually disappears from our attention to the cognitive and imaginary world. In order to make up for this loss, we need to retain the spirits that still exist in eastern philosophy, especially the introspective system of Taoism. Taoist philosophers believed that focusing the inner attention on the body can improve one’s vitality. The greatest danger brought by the mass medium is that we may lose contact with our inner world. The simplest consciousness such as the physical movement of the muscles, the discomfort of the organs and the self-sensing activities such as breathing and balance constitute the foundation of personal spiritual life. Even though we learn how to interact with the computer-processed object, we should always ask ourselves that whether we can retain enough power to sense the original and secondary world. In the 1960s, Jim Morrison was sensitive to this danger. In the book, he warned: “One day, we will go to the weather theater to recall the feeling of rain.“
